So I am useless at doing my nails… love painting them and usually they are chipped in a few hours and off by the next day so decided to try out this kit. Really easy to use just followed the instructions. Lots of other comments said the nails took longer than 120sec to cure but I followed the instructions which says they will be tacky between each layer and they turned out amazing! Just needed to wipe afterwards as instructed. They last a week which for me was amazing! I work in an engineering company so my hands are washed constantly and carrying heavy metals/deburring/etc so I was very impressed they lasted that long. Have only done it that one time but for someone who is pretty useless at nails usually I was extremely impressed and lots of people commented on them. Would definitely recommend. I only gave 4 stars as it only lasted a week compared to 3 weeks but as I said it’s probably due to my lifestyle rather than anything else. I would say the lamp is large but wasn’t really a big issue for me

Got this for my daughter’s birthday. She opened it to do her nails the bulb was smashed in the box and she cut her finger. Returned it.

I have never before done my own gel manis, so this was a first for me. I was a little sceptical as sometimes even salon applied gels can be a bit hit and miss with me (lifting and peeling etc.) I don't treat my hands with as much respect as I should and I also tend to pick and play with my nail finishes, but I was prepared to try as I was getting fed up of painting my nails every couple of days. All I can say is that I have been pleasantly surprised. I have had them on one week now and no peeling, flaking or chipping!They were really easy to apply. I went tentatively at first only painting one thumb. Prepped cuticles (didn't cut), buffed nail, One coat of base, then cure, two coats of colour, then cure and finally top coat, cure, then wipe... great. Lovely colour, although I did use three coats on all my other fingers and the colour was deeper and no streaks at all. Did the full set in about 45 minutes and I would say it was easier than using regular polish as mistakes can be corrected prior to curing. Lots of instructions available on you tube, some suggest using prep and wipe after the base coat. I didn't do this step but don't appear to have had any issues.The kit was great had everything I needed with the exception of orange sticks and buffer, but these are things that most people have if they ever paint their nails. Delivery was quick and came with Amazon logistics. Not as good as dpd as I didn't get a specific delivery slot, but this wasn't an issue as it arrived on the day it was expected. I would definitely recommend this kit and supplier.The kit came with 4 colours of polish. Black, glittery wine coloured, flat red and a pastel green (more of a summer colour) looking on Amazon loads of additional colour polishes are available to order separately and again are cheaper than I would usually pay for my regular polish (opi)Pic of wine coloured polish attached, bear in mind there's a weeks growth and it's a first attempt.

Great value for money, lovely selection of gel polish colours, the 4 bottles of polish, top cot and base coat would cost more than the whole kit, bought as a xmas gift for my daughter in law.

Great for a starter kit. My first go did not last very long, perhaps around 1 week, but I feel this is more down to my lack of skill in applying the gel and effectively sealing the ends, but this will get better with time and practice. I've just done my second attempt, and already, these look much better, and I feel I did the sealing of the ends of my nails much better this time. I'm pleased with the look of the nails, no issues with curing so far and you shouldn't have issues if you follow the step by step guide. Removal of my first set also worked absolutely fine.
